Just saw a tumblr post that was supposed to be some sort of description of an ideal boyfriend, and the first two favorable traits were something along the lines of “He doesn’t call other girls cute,” and “He doesn’t like other girls photos on facebook.”
If you’re so insecure that you’d prefer your boyfriend refer to you and you only as cute, and you want him to completely ignore (via internet) every other female in his life, maybe you’re not ready to have a boyfriend.
And if you ask me, the ideal girlfriend doesn’t get upset if you her boyfriend calls another girl cute, because she knows she’s got him. AND she knows he’s a human being and cannot help if he finds someone attractive. If he acts on it, then perhaps you have a problem.
I am not sure why that post offended me so much. Perhaps I just wish more women/girls would be more secure with themselves, and less crazy. On that note….here’s this funny video.
